On this page

Welcome. If you have just bought RelicusRoad Pro, or you are still deciding, this is the right page to read first.

You do not need any experience with indicators. An indicator is simply a piece of software that draws on your price chart, so you can see things that are hard to spot with your eyes alone. That is all RelicusRoad Pro is, and this book will walk you through it one step at a time.

By the end of this chapter you will know what the tool does, where it runs, and where everything else in this book lives.

What RelicusRoad Pro is

RelicusRoad Pro is one indicator that draws a whole set of tools on your chart at the same time.

Some of those tools mark the prices where the market has turned around before. Some draw colored lines that lean up or down so you can see which way price has been pushing. Some print small arrows when a pattern the tool watches for shows up. Together they give you a picture of the chart without you having to add twenty separate indicators by hand.

You do not have to learn all of it at once, and you should not try. Start with one strategy and a handful of the drawings, and leave the rest off until you are ready for them.

One honest note before you go further. No indicator wins every trade. RelicusRoad Pro helps you read the chart and decide; it does not remove risk, and losing trades are a normal part of trading.

Where it runs, and what it costs

RelicusRoad Pro runs on three platforms: TradingView (in your browser and on the mobile app), MetaTrader 4 (MT4), and MetaTrader 5 (MT5).

Every direct plan ($57 per month, $297 per year, or $397 one-time for lifetime) includes TradingView, MT4 and MT5 under one license. See RelicusRoad Pro for plan details. On the MQL5 Market, MT4 and MT5 are sold separately at $247 one-time each.

So the choice is simple. If you want all three platforms, or you are not yet sure which platform you will settle on, buy direct. If you already know you only ever want MT4 or only ever want MT5, the MQL5 Market listing is a one-time purchase for that single platform.

These are the product pages for each version:

How this book is laid out

The book is in five parts, and they are meant to be read roughly in order.

Part 1, Start here, is the part you are in now. The next chapter, Installation, gets the indicator onto your platform. The chapter after that, First setup, gets your chart into a state you can actually trade from.

Part 2, Reading the chart, is the heart of the book. Each tool inside RelicusRoad Pro gets its own chapter under Features: what it draws, what the colors mean, and the mistakes people make with it. That is where the price levels, the trend lines, the support and resistance zones, the action levels, the session clock and the various arrows are each explained on their own. A few of those chapters build on classic ideas you may meet elsewhere, such as the Ichimoku cloud and the MACD histogram; you do not need to know either one in advance.

Part 3, Trading plans, is the Strategies section. A strategy is a ready-made recipe that says which tools to use together and when to act. RelicusRoad Pro ships with seven of them, numbered Strategy #1 to Strategy #7, and picking one in the settings switches the matching features on for you. If you want the general thinking behind working with a plan at all, the guide on how to master any trading strategy is a good companion read.

Part 4, Making it yours, covers the input settings: Customization options for how things look, and Advanced settings for the rest. Come here once the defaults start to feel limiting, not before.

Part 5, Help, is where you go when you are stuck: the FAQ, the Downloads page for files and templates, and Video tutorials if you would rather watch than read.

Picking a strategy

You choose your strategy from the indicator’s input settings, then read the detail for that strategy in this book or in the Discord strategies channel.

Once you choose one, the features of the indicator automatically adjust to it. You do not have to switch things on and off yourself; you can focus on the chart and on your trades.

If you would rather build your own mix, turn on the custom strategy option instead. That leaves every feature under your control, so you set each one to on or off yourself.

Tip: Stay on one strategy long enough to learn its habits before you try another. Jumping between strategies every week teaches you nothing about any of them.

Choosing a broker

Your broker is the company that actually places your trades, and the one you pick changes what a trade costs you. If the terms spread, commission and swap are new, the guide on spreads, commissions and swaps explains them plainly.

Outside the United States, we recommend ICMarkets or Tickmill for their reliability and low costs.

Inside the United States, most of our users go with one of these:
