I took that trade and easily hit my TP. I have since been able to go through the training and see where this indicator is much more robust than I could have ever imagined. If you use it mechanically I don’t know, but when you factor in elements that are hard to include in a mechanical approach, like marked structure, sentiment, maybe a bit of fundamental analysis, it can be really profitable. A good advice would be to learn to read the road as well as that also plays a big part. I’m still learning the strategy but are up 7% this month, witch is the best I have ever done. I know there are guys in here who has a hit rate of above 80%. I’m maybe not the most qualified to answer you question, but I see great potential in it myself and I improve every day. The instruments I trade the most are the major currencies. The reason is the generally low spread, since this parameter has a huge influence in scalping mode. The brokers I use offer good conditions in this respect. Aside of currencies, I have also made a couple of good strikes with gold, even though its behavior in intraday has recently proven a bit hectic. I’m not a big fan of stocks and indexes : I have therefore never tried RR in these markets. Same, I stay away from cryptos for reasons it would be tedious to enumerate here. As for the strategies, I use RR mostly as an all-in-one toolkit, since it allows me to gather in one place most of the tricks I was already familiar with before. To add icing on the cake, I combine it with some valuable personal extras (free tip : a combo of RR + ADX + Awesome Oscillator overlapping MACD 2 Lines does wonders. If you add a performing currency strength meter on top of this, you have a lethal weapon !). That’s the point : I have discovered that RR is some sort of booster for the strategies I already had in place, and I’m bluffed by the world of new possibilities this super-tool has unraveled to me since I put it at work within my own system a couple of weeks ago. As a conclusion, I would say that RR is in the process of taking my trading to the next level, and my only regret is that I had not discovered it earlier ! I mean, it deserves a little picture, ain’t it ? I entered at 135.031 and I jumped from the train at 135.075, exactly as advised by RR ! At first, I was a bit upset when I saw the Price going up to 135.121, but it was just before the big bad slide-down one can see on the right hand side… Just a tiny note however… I had set my SL at 134.998 (the last swing low) instead of 134.935 as advised by RR : this allowed me to achieve a way better R/R ratio. By the way, I have noticed that in Version 2., the advised SL (the little golden crosses) are more in line with good R/R balance than in Version 1.
